Hey, everyone! It's almost time for Christmas and since we all just realized that the world isn't ending (not that anyone seriously believed it was going to happen) we can now officially focus on the best time of the year. I really love the holiday season, everyone always seems happier and a little lighter. Well, at least the people who aren't constantly obsessed with shopping and forgetting the good things, haha.
So, as a christmas special post, I would like to introduce to you guys my favorite traditional christmas movies! (: You all love movies, right? And vintage? Well let me show you what you're missing out on.

It's A Wonderful Life

This movie is my most favorite christmas movie, ever! It's about the life of a business man named George Bailey, who has done everything for the town of Bedford Falls. On Christmas Eve, he misplaces an $8000 bank loan for an evil millionaire, and wishes that he was never born. A guardian angel named Clarence and shows him how his town, family and friends would have been if he really was never born. George realizes that he meant so much to many people and begins to think; should he really throw it all away? It's A Wonderful Life is so adorable and heartwarming! Not to mention Jimmy Stewart is a cutie ;D this film was made right after WWII ended and Stewart had just gotten back from war. He almost didn't agree to make It's A Wonderful Life, but it ended up being his favorite film that he ever made because it was fun and it helped him through his PTSD. Now that is how amazing this movie is!

White Christmas

I know, more old hollywood, but you guys need more old movies in your life! Haha, anyway this Christmas movie is one of the movies that got me into dancing as a kid. This film is about two WWII veterans named Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, who team up to become a top song and dance act in broadway. While Phil tries to play matchmaker, they are introduced to two beautiful sisters, Betty and Judy, who also have a song and dance act. This film is so cute and fun! I remember as a kid, I always had my mom rewind the dance scene in that video on the VCR. Vera-Ellen is so fun to watch when she dances, she has always been one of my idols. Not to mention Rosemary Clooney, Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye are absolutely fantastic as well!

Merry Christmas everyone and a happy new year!
